How I work
Step 1: Your wishes, ideas or dreams!
Before I get started, I am very curious about your ideas and wishes. Send all your wishes and ideas in one clear request by e-mail or via the request form. Mention as many details as possible. For example what I can make, when you need it and what it's for. The more details the better.
Would you like to call to talk about your ideas? That's no problem either. We'll set a day and time, and I'll make sure I have all the time for you!
Step 3: Customized quotation
After I have a better picture of your wishes, I will make an offer. Every illustration or printing project is different. The rates therefore depend on your needs, or the investment you want to make. I am open to all your ideas and you will receive more information in a tailor-made offer, so you will not be faced with any surprises. I will send you the quotation by email and you can digitally sign it if you agree.
Step 4: I'll get to work for you!
Here we go! I will get to work for you and make the first sketches to determine the direction of the design. I combine illustrations, typography and other visual elements, so that everything becomes a whole. I will send you a file with a structured process that I will send to you by email, on which you can provide feedback. There is always room for feedback, so that we really create something that suits you!
Step 5: Final Design
Yes! The design is finished! Once the design is fully approved, I prepare the artwork or printing for delivery. (including any printing and shipping support). There are many options and I understand that can be overwhelming, especially if you don't know how to prepare a file for printing. I am therefore happy to take that work off your hands, so that you only have to wait at the mailbox!
Would you rather have the design printed yourself? That's no problem either. I'll make sure the design is completely print-ready!
A design that doesn't need to be printed? You will then receive the agreed files in various formats in a clear package.

How do you make your designs?
I make all my designs digitally via my iPad in combination with Adobe programs Illustrator & Photoshop.
I have a fixed budget, can you also design something?
Send me an email and I'll see what I can do within your budget. I like to think along with you!
Can I also have a design printed by you?
There are many options and many different paper types. I understand that can be overwhelming, especially if you don't know how to prepare a file for printing. That's why I'm happy to help you out, so that you only have to wait at the mailbox! Would you rather have the design printed yourself? That's no problem either. I'll make sure the design is completely print-ready!
What is the delivery time?
The delivery time depends on the design. Because I want to give every assignment the attention it deserves, you can count on an average delivery time of 3 to 4 weeks. Need a design that's in a hurry? Feel free to send me an email, and I'll be happy to look at the possibilities with you!
Do you also make birth announcements and wedding announcements?

Do I own the work?
No, the copyright remains with the creator.
May I modify or edit your illustrations?
I am happy to adjust the illustrations where necessary based on your feedback during our collaboration. You are not allowed to do that yourself, due to copyright law.
